The streaming server can be equipped with "Max" series cards and is supplied accordingly with selected items (tuner | CI) ready for connection in 1U housing, including power supply 230 volts.
The Octopus NET mainboard is modularly expanded and allows a change of the installed tuner modules or expansions. In case of a change of location, Octopus NET can be adapted to the reception situation or extended at any time by exchanging these modules.
The Octopus NET server mainboards for multicast can be configured for Streams of SPTS (RTP / UDP protocol) or new, since firmware 2.10.3.0 also unicast via RTSP and is usable with numerous software and hardware. Especially suitable for the supply in hotels, and other public facilities, where a large number of clients must be supplied. The server provides a total of 12 streams, which can be individually configured for multicast and/or unicast. Further streams are possible via additional server units.
By installing a CI slot, multicast and unicast streams can be decoded* directly in the server.

With the built-in 5 port Gigabit switch you can expand your network not only by additional LAN ports, you can also filter the streams that should be available on the ports in multicast mode.
The entire configuration is done via the internal and password-protected WEB interface, from the channel scan to the creation of the streams.
Note: The basic version of this server does not include tuners or CI modules. Tuners and CIs that you order with this server will be installed by us before delivery and then tested the entire system. An overview of possible tuners and CI components can be found in the header of this article. If tuners or CI components should not be installed before delivery, please give us a corresponding note in the comment function of your order.
